What we collect
Ping collects the minimum data required to provide SLA tracking and on-call rotation for your Slack workspace:
- Slack workspace ID and name
- Channel IDs where Ping is configured
- Message timestamps for ticket tracking (not message content)
- Slack user IDs for rotation and escalation
- Billing information (processed by Stripe)
What we do not collect
- Message content or text
- Files or attachments
- Private messages or DMs (except those Ping sends)
- Data from channels where Ping is not configured
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide Ping's SLA tracking and on-call rotation features. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Data storage
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure infrastructure. Slack bot tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
Data deletion
Uninstalling Ping from your Slack workspace removes all associated data. You can also request data deletion by emailing support@pingforslack.com.
