@support-duty Getting a 403 on /api/billing after upgrading to v2.4
Ping AI
Known v2.4 issue. The billing scope was renamed from billing:read to billing.read. Update API key permissions in Settings β API Keys.

How it works
Watch. Page. Resolve.
Three things, all happening inside the channel where your team already lives.
Watch
Listens to your support channel 24/7
The moment someone @mentions your support alias, Ping opens an issue and starts the SLA clock. No forms, no context switching, no second tool to learn β just mention the alias and Ping takes over.

Ping
Issue opened β SLA timer started (15 min)
Page
Pages the right person at the right time
Ping runs your weekly rotation automatically β no calendar to maintain, no spreadsheet to update. The on-call alias always points to the right person, and if they don't respond in your SLA window, Ping escalates up the chain (up to 5 levels).

Resolve
Answers from your team's own words
Ping captures how your team resolves support questions in Slack and serves those answers back instantly to the next person who asks. Grounded in your Notion, your threads, and your GitHub β with sources cited on every response. The stuff AI can't answer routes straight to your on-call engineer.

How it learns
Ask
Someone @mentions your support alias with a question.
Answer
Your on-call engineer resolves it in thread, just like always.
Remember
Ping captures the Q&A. Next similar question gets that answer in under a second.
No thumbs up. No training data. No feedback loops. Ping learns from what your team already does.
Day-one value
Works on day one. Not after a three-month rollout.
On install, Ping reads through your team's support history and picks up the patterns β who asked what, who answered authoritatively, which answers stuck. Your institutional knowledge, searchable from minute one.
No knowledge base to build. No docs to migrate. Your Notion stays Notion. Your Slack stays Slack.
3-min setup
One-click Slack install, quick /ping setup
Historical scan
Past support threads indexed on install
Auto-sync
New Notion pages picked up every 15 minutes
Zero migration
Your docs stay where they live today
Grounded, not generic
Your docs stay your docs.
Every answer is pulled fresh from your sources β only the relevant snippets, only at the moment someone asks. Your content never trains a model, never leaves your workspace boundary, never shows up for another customer.
No fine-tuning
Your content never enters model weights.
Per-workspace scope
Isolated cache, no cross-tenant data.
Sources on every answer
Every response shows where it came from.
Up and running in 3 minutes
Install to Slack
One click. No config files, no deploy scripts.
Run /ping setup
Pick your channel, set your squad, define your escalation chain.
Walk away
Ping monitors the channel 24/7. You'll only hear from us if something needs attention.
vs PagerDuty
Built for teams who live in Slack

Frequently asked questions
What does Ping need access to?+
Ping only reads messages in channels where you run /ping setup. It never reads DMs, private channels you haven't invited it to, or message content beyond detecting @mentions and responses.
How does the trial work?+
Every new install gets full Pro access for 30 days β unlimited channels, unlimited AI responses, no credit card required. After 30 days you choose a plan, or drop to the free tier (1 channel, no AI).
Can I change plans later?+
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from the billing dashboard. Changes take effect immediately.
What happens if I hit my channel limit?+
Ping will let you know when you try to run /ping setup. Your existing channels keep working β you just can't add new ones until you upgrade.
